Last night wine was pouring, and food was the best you could get. One of Maui’s biggest Wine and Food shows was in full swing to benefit the Maui Arts and Culture Center. I always hear about it and though one day I would get there. It was $250 a ticket so you can imagine the Caliber of peeps there. I felt honored to have my wine featured there with Kaena wines.
I was surprised how many people came to the booth looking for the wine or heard about it. Made me feel good inside that my Marketing campaign had did some good. I think my wine maker Mikael Sigouin was a little surprised as well.
There where some important peeps there and you know I had to make contact. One of the highlights was meeting Shane VIctorino’s parents. To my surprise they knew who I was which made the greet even better. Shane’s father is a Representative and has a lot of power on the island. He gave me his number and said what ever I need help with on Maui to let him know. Good people.
The Day overall was Long but worth every minute. I made a ton of contacts and a lot of new clients. There were some restaurants here that were already carrying the wine to my surprise. You can go to my website now and see all the places that will be carrying the wine. I am happy that the head of the committee wants to feature Look Me In The Eye and Kaena wines next year! Maui Calls, something you got to be at.
